Up for auction is an antique open-face pocket watch from the Elgin National Watch Company. This piece features a beautiful Art Deco design and dates back to 1928 based on factory production records. The watch is currently in working condition and ticks when wound. Because this is a vintage mechanical timepiece with an unknown service history, it is being sold as-is. Specifications: - Brand: Elgin National Watch Co. - Country of Origin: USA (Stamped Elgin U.S.A.) - Movement Serial Number: 31063077 - Production Year: 1928 - Jewels: 15 Jewels - Size: 27.5 mm - Case Manufacturer: Wadsworth Quality (Model E-2) - Case Material: 14K Gold Filled - Case Serial Number: 1585654 - Case: Shows normal light surface wear and scratches from age.
