《When shipping imitation swords and iaido swords, we will ship them under a product name that makes it difficult to identify them as swords, such as art or crafts.》 Supervised by 24th generation Fujiwara Kanefusa. Limited production of 950 pieces. No re-release or made-to-order production. New retail price for a set of large and small swords was approximately 300,000 yen. *This listing is for the Uchigatana (large sword) only. The famous sword [Izumi no Kami Fujiwara KaneShige], said to have been favored by Miyamoto Musashi, who stands alongside renowned swordsmen such as Tsukahara Bokuden, Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, Yagyū Munenori, and Itō Issai. Employs the same techniques and style as a real sword. Fully reproduces the fittings devised by Musashi. Features a magnificent hamon (temper line), ultra-thin blade specification, and produces a pleasant whistling sound when swung. Dimensions (approximate) Blade length (excluding habaki): 70cm Handle length (including kashira and fuchi): 24.5cm Weight (with saya removed): 835g While there are very minor scratches, the blade, saya, and overall condition are good. The koiguchi (mouth of the saya) has become somewhat loose due to age and use. Please forgive minor scratches, as the production was over 40 years ago and due to the nature of iaido swords. This is a genuinely rare sword with a fixed production number. Furthermore, unlike regular imitation swords, the tip is extremely sharp, so please handle with extreme care. Please examine the photos carefully. If you would like additional photos or have any questions, please leave a comment. *The photos do not show all conditions. *There may be minor scratches that are not visible in the photos. This is an iaido sword (replica sword) manufactured to iaido standards, intended for practical use. It can be used for traditional martial arts (Iaido, Battodo). This is a used item. All used items, except for new and unopened products, are treated as having some scratches and dirt. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect or like-new item, or if you are sensitive to such details. Thank you for your understanding. *Sword stand is not included.
