This listing is for the item shown in the photos only. - Model Name: XOTIC X-Blender - Type: Blender - Controls (Knobs): MIX DRY~WET, boost on/off switch (volume, bass, treble), blend on/off switch, true bypass switch, efx phase switch - Power: DC9V center negative, 006P battery x 1 This is a blender that can be used with both guitar and bass. It allows you to mix the sound before the blender (DRY) and the sound that has passed through effects like spatial effects connected to the blender's loop (WET) at any desired balance. I used it when using spatial effects such as fuzz pedals that tend to lose low end, or wah pedals that tend to lose their contour. When not passing through the loop, it functions as a true bypass, minimizing signal degradation. Additionally, it features a phase switching function, making it convenient for use with older amplifiers or effects that may cause reverse phase issues. This is a staple effect pedal that many professional guitarists and bassists use today. I am selling it to fund the purchase of new equipment, as I have been using it actively. It will be shipped with hook-and-loop fastener (male side) attached, so it can be immediately placed on your pedalboard. As it was like this from the time of purchase, it is likely a specification, but when the boost switch is turned OFF, the sound is muted, so please always use it in the ON position. As long as you do not increase the boost's volume, bass, or treble, the sound will not change, so there are no particular issues with its use. There are minor scratches due to use, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.
