Now only 300000 → 230000 This is a magnificent ito-maki tachi koshirae with an Aoi crest on a beautiful pear-skin saya. It has a heavy, aged feel, and its presence exudes dignity and authority. The deep curve and majestic appearance possess the power unique to a tachi, and the meticulously crafted fittings are adorned with intricate metalwork. It has a splendor that is not overly gaudy, a superb piece that is both elegant and full of vigor. ■ Product Contents / Exterior, Take-light (bamboo sword) ■ Size / Total length 99cm, Curve 1.8cm Handle 25cm, Inner diameter: 0.9cm (width) x 2.9cm (height) Saya 73cm, Inner diameter: 1.3cm (width) x 3.4cm (height) Tsuba: 7.7cm (width) x 7.8cm (height) x 0.6cm (thickness), Weight 151g ■ Condition / There are scuffs, scratches, peeling, and damage due to age. Habaki is not included. As it is an antique item, there is some looseness in the handle and tsuba that secures the take-light. (It was loose from the time of purchase, but I didn't mind it as I only used it as a display Jin-tachi koshirae and didn't remove the take-light.) It was sold at an antique shop as an heirloom of a daimyo family (proof of online listing available at the end of the images), but I am an amateur and do not know the details. As it is an antique item, there is one part where the fittings are cracked due to age-related deterioration (bottom of the 3rd image). I love Japanese swords and have kept them carefully, but now that I have a child, I would like to use this ito-maki jin-tachi koshirae as a supplement for childbirth and childcare expenses. I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it. As this is an antique jin-tachi koshirae, please judge from the photos. No claims, no returns (NC/NR) please.
