Artwork Title: Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, Thirty-two Aspects of Customs: A Woman Enjoying a Stroll, Customs of Wives in the Meiji Era

    Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (月岡芳年)
    Birth and Death: 1839 - 1892

A ukiyo-e artist active from the late Edo period to the mid-Meiji period. His real name was Yonejiro Yoshioka. He later changed his name to Tsukioka. Due to his struggles with neurasthenia and the strong impression left by his Muzan paintings, which shocked the public to the extent that he was called Bloody Yoshitoshi, his work is often perceived as grim. However, he painted a wide range of genres, including actor prints, historical paintings, and genre paintings, with his unique artistic style, and also left behind masterpieces in bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women). Many of his disciples went on to become successful painters.

Vivid Colors: Faithfully reproduces the exquisite details of the woodblock prints, resulting in a colorful and deep finish.
Frameless: Delivered with a simple and stylish design, without a frame. You can add a frame to suit your preference.
