Chanel Fall 2019 Runway Look 49 Black Red Cashmere Lion Button Cardigan FR 36 Exceptional Chanel Fall/Winter 2019 Ready-to-Wear runway-documented cardigan, presented as part of Look 49 from Karl Lagerfeld’s final collection for Chanel. This exact cardigan design appeared on the Chanel Fall 2019 runway, making it an especially collectible piece from one of the most historically important collections of Lagerfeld’s Chanel career. For Look 49, Chanel styled the cardigan beneath a sheer printed floor-length dress with an oversized translucent collar, black scarf and dramatic waist belt. The cardigan is clearly identifiable through its black knit body, vivid red V-neck and front trim, red chest tabs, red hem and cuffs, and distinctive decorative hardware. The cardigan itself is crafted from a luxurious blend of 73% cashmere, 19% wool and 8% polyamide. Finely knitted black fabric forms the body, contrasted by tactile vivid red trim framing the deep V neckline and front button closure. Matching red trim continues around the hem and cuffs, while decorative red tabs accent the chest. Gorgeous gold-tone sculptural lion-head buttons embellish the front and chest tabs, giving the cardigan a jewelry-like finish and unmistakable Chanel character. Fitted silhouette with long sleeves, defined waist and hip-length hem. Beautiful worn buttoned as a lightweight knit jacket or open as a cardigan.
