Item Description:Up for sale is a beautiful vintage 1970s clear molded glass fish carafe, which can also be uniquely styled as a decorative vase or decanter. This whimsical piece features a highly detailed koi or carp design with prominent raised scales, an expressive stylized face, and detailed fins along the stable, textured base. The hollow, curved body arches elegantly upward into a flared tail that serves as a functional open-mouth pouring spout.Perfect for mid-century modern, coastal, tiki, or eclectic home decor, this versatile glass piece makes an excellent conversation starter when used as a beverage pitcher, wine carafe, or a standalone accent display. Condition:Overall: Good vintage condition with excellent glass clarity.Flaws: There is a small, shallow chip/flea bite located on the top rim of the flared tail spout (please see the dedicated close-up photo). It is smooth to the touch and does not impact the structural integrity of the piece, but it is present.Base: Shows minor expected shelf wear on the flat bottom surface consistent with age and gentle handling.Note: Priced accordingly due to the rim wear. Please examine all high-resolution photos carefully as they form part of the final description.
