LODGE Dutch Oven 12-inch Size (approx.): Diameter 31.8cm, Height 17.5cm. Includes English instruction manual. Retail price approximately ¥22,000. *This is a new, unused item, but the original box is not included. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a separate box for shipping. The areas that may appear to be rust are due to the seasoning process performed at the Lodge factory. You can use it without any problems by scrubbing it off with a scouring pad and then applying a thin layer of cooking oil for maintenance. The lid has a rim so that charcoal can be placed on top for oven-style cooking, allowing you to make dishes like roast beef. The overall thickness of 5mm provides excellent heat retention, making it useful for all cooking methods such as baking, steaming, stir-frying, and stewing. ■CAST IRON■ The greatest feature of cast iron is its slow heat transfer. It heats food evenly and gently, concentrating the flavors during cooking. Pre-seasoned and ready to use immediately after washing with water. No break-in period required. ■■LODGE■■ Founded in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, in 1896 by Joseph Lodge, Lodge is a cast iron manufacturer. They produce over 150 types of cast iron products, including Dutch ovens, skillets, griddles, and enameled cast iron cookware. It is a brand that has been loved in kitchens, restaurants, and outdoors worldwide for over 120 years. [Care Instructions] 1. Remove dirt with warm water using a non-metallic scouring pad. *Avoid using detergent as much as possible. If you are concerned about odors or burnt-on food, we recommend using baking soda. 2. Dry completely by wiping or heating until all moisture is gone. 3. While still warm, apply a thin layer of cooking oil, spread it evenly, and season. 4. Store after it has cooled down completely.
