Pair of collectible Charley Harper art glass buttons, each featuring one of Harper’s distinctive stylized wildlife designs. One depicts a wonderfully geometric frog, while the coordinating button features a tall wading bird/heron-like figure surrounded by concentric circular lines. Both are rendered in warm earthy shades of rust, brown, tan and cream. Each measures approximately 1 inch in diameter and has a domed glass front with silvertone metal shank back. These are modern buttons reproducing artwork by celebrated American modernist artist and illustrator Charley Harper (1922–2007), known for his highly recognizable geometric interpretations of birds, animals and the natural world. Excellent for a collector, special sewing project, jacket or bag embellishment, textile art, jewelry making, or simply displaying as miniature examples of Harper’s work. Condition: Very good preowned condition. Small handwritten identification/inventory labels remain on the backs, as shown in photographs. Selling as a pair. #Haberdashery #SewingButtons
