Striking signed Tony Evans art pottery vase dating to the 1980s. Known for his innovative raku and studio pottery designs, Evans created highly collectible sculptural ceramics from his California studio. This example features a dramatic organic rim, crystalline raku-style glaze in soft pink, blue, and ivory tones, and a clear lucite base that gives the vessel a floating appearance. A wonderful statement piece for Postmodern, Contemporary, Organic Modern, Coastal Luxe, Hollywood Regency, or collector interiors. Dimensions: 17 tall x 8.5 diameter. Condition: Signed on underside. Listing is for one vase only; photos showing two vases depict different angles of the same piece. Minor surface scratches and light age-related wear consistent with display and use. No major chips or cracks noted.
