This is a long, slender paulownia cutting board, ideal for slicing sashimi and other delicate foods. The surface is finely planed, ensuring excellent water drainage and quick drying. Despite its size, it weighs only about 1100g, making it easy to lift. Unlike cutting boards made from strongly scented woods like cypress or hinoki, paulownia does not transfer odors to your food. It is also significantly lighter and easier to handle than other types of wood. Furthermore, because paulownia is soft, it helps maintain the sharpness of your knives for longer. You can say goodbye to the frustration of knives becoming dull quickly, a common issue with plastic cutting boards.
