Based on its design features, it is believed to have been manufactured during the Taisho to early Showa period (approximately 90-100 years ago). This item is intended for antique and collectors' enthusiasts. Unlike modern, new Karuta sets, we recommend this for those who can appreciate and enjoy the patina of age. Product Features: - Includes a wooden box (with lid, dividers, and string) - Complete set of 100 cards (no missing pieces) - Upper phrase cards feature a color illustration of the poet and their name. - Lower phrase cards have large, easy-to-read characters. - The back of the cards has a retro-style purple and white pattern. Condition: - As this is an old item, there are scuffs, dirt, and age-related damage to the cards and box. - There are no breaks or major chips, and it is suitable for playing. - The manufacturer's name could not be found.
