CD-VT2 Portable CD Music & Voice Trainer Received this item new about 15 years ago and it has been stored away. It has never been used, but the surface has deteriorated due to hydrolysis. There are no functional issues. The AC adapter has no surface deterioration and is in perfect new condition. The CD-VT2 is a compact CD player equipped with convenient features for vocal and instrument practice. It includes the VSA (Variable Speed Audition) function, which allows you to change the tempo without altering the pitch of the CD, a key control function to change the playback key of songs, as well as a chromatic tuner and metronome, and many other features useful for vocal and instrument practice. Additionally, with the vocal cancel function that allows you to cancel the vocals in a song, you can turn your favorite CDs into karaoke tracks for practice. By connecting a microphone to the unit, you can also practice along with the CD's songs. * A CD trainer convenient for practicing vocals, as well as wind and string instruments. * The VSA (Variable Speed Audition) function allows you to change the tempo without altering the pitch, making it easy to copy fast and difficult-to-hear phrases. *(1) * The key control function allows you to freely change the key (pitch) of the song, enabling practice in your preferred key. The fine-tune function allows for 1-cent increments for precise adjustments. *(1) * Vocal cancel function allows you to cancel the vocals in a song. Since it cancels sounds at a specific position (left-right position) within the song, depending on the PART setting, it can cancel not only vocals but also instrument sounds. *(2) * Built-in vocal effects. * The loop playback function allows for focused practice by repeatedly playing desired phrases. * Equipped with a chromatic tuner and metronome. * Easy-to-understand operation with dedicated keys. * Two microphones can be connected simultaneously. *(1) Due to special digital processing, the sound may become wavering when the setting is significantly changed. *(2) The effect may be less noticeable depending on the song.
