This is the legendary Sony digital video camera, the DCR-VX1000. It's a model that is still loved worldwide today for filming skateboarding and more. It was found during a clean-out of my parents' home and has been carefully stored. [Operation] We have confirmed that the battery can be charged and the unit powers on when connected to the AC adapter. The display within the viewfinder is also confirmed to be working. Video: Unknown Camera: Zoom in/out confirmed. As this is an older model, we have not been able to confirm other detailed operations. The cassette holder opens and closes smoothly. Tape playback was possible, but confirmation of stop and other operations could not be obtained. [Set Contents] DCR-VX1000 Main Unit AC Adapter/Charger (AC-V615) AV Connection Cable Battery (*Please consider this a consumable item for operation confirmation purposes.) Shoulder Strap Dedicated Aluminum Case Lens Cap / Hood *Everything shown in the second image is included. [Condition] Exterior: There are minor scratches due to age, but no noticeable damage. It is in clean condition for its age. Storage: Stored in its dedicated aluminum case. [Notes] This is vintage equipment released in 1995. We cannot guarantee the operation of all functions. Therefore, please purchase only if you understand that it is sold as-is (assuming maintenance will be required). Please check the condition in the photos. The item will be shipped by wrapping the dedicated aluminum case in bubble wrap. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. Thank you. Click here for the manufacturer's site
