??Purchased on Rakuten in March 2026 ??Brand new, unused ?? 20cm / Direct flame type ?? Please note that the shipping label will be affixed directly to the manufacturer's gift box shown in image 1. This is a Yukihira pot from Kyoto Katsugu, purchased recently. The size is 20cm and it is for direct flame use. It is a wonderful product, but I am selling it because I felt it was too luxurious for my needs. The pot has a solid thickness, and the handle is very easy to hold. I believe it is a recommended item for those who cook seriously. Although it is a new and unused item, please note that there are some slight scuffs on the bottom of the pot from when it arrived (please refer to images 6 and 7). Thank you for your understanding. [Product Description] Aluminum is lighter than iron or stainless steel, so it is less tiring to hold for long periods. It also conducts heat very quickly compared to other metals, making it convenient for quickly boiling water. The Japanese technique of anodizing is used. By electrically treating the surface of aluminum and refining a film of aluminum oxide, durability and corrosion resistance are enhanced. This product is anodized in Japan. The plate thickness is 2mm, which is 1.2 to 2 times thicker than inexpensive Yukihira pots. Heat is applied gently to the ingredients, allowing them to cook thoroughly to the core. It also has excellent heat retention and insulation properties, and does not cool down easily. The wooden handle is made of solid oak, which is also used in high-end furniture. Because oak has a prominent grain, each Yukihira pot is unique. It exudes a vintage feel, as if it has been used for a long time by a craftsman. Of course, it will develop more character with use. Instead of a shiny urethane coating, it is finished with waxing to enhance durability and water resistance while preserving the natural texture of the wood. The spout on the left side is wide to allow for pouring a moderate amount at once.
