The underside of the top surface is cross-braced, allowing it to be used as a step stool. Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans. Perfect as a side table, an entryway stool, a stand for seasonal flowers, or a step stool. It is intentionally left unpainted. Enjoy the deepening amber hue and the evolving character of the wood as it ages with you. *The stool pictured will be shipped (excluding conceptual images). [Artisan Introduction] A carpenter with over 55 years of experience building detached houses. With over 500 transactions, he has received many messages of joy and encouragement from customers. Thank you always. *Due to being handmade, there may be slight variations in size and shape. *As natural materials are used, there may be individual differences in color and wood grain. The product may differ slightly from the photo. *The color and texture may appear slightly different depending on your device and viewing environment. *To cherish the wood, we use it with any warping, small chips, scratches, knots, scuff marks, or darkening that do not affect its usability. Please enjoy these as characteristics of natural materials. *Solid wood may develop drying cracks, warping, or wobbling due to seasonal changes in temperature and humidity. While these do not affect usability, please avoid direct exposure to heating/cooling vents and direct sunlight as much as possible. We also offer other natural and compact furniture.
