This is a hand-carved wooden fish made from Hon-kusu (Japanese cypress) by skilled artisans, with each piece meticulously hand-carved. It is carved from a single piece of natural wood, producing a deep resonance and warmth that cannot be found in mass-produced items. When struck, it produces a clear yet soft, pleasant sound that fills the space. Size: - 5 sun (approx. 15cm) *This is a convenient size for home use or for Buddhist altars. Features: ? Hon-kusu, hand-carved ? Handmade by artisans ? Each piece has a unique tone and wood grain ? The actual item shown in the listing photos will be delivered (no stock photos used) *Please Note: As wooden fish are made from natural wood, there may be variations in wood grain, color, small dents, or stains. These are not defects but characteristics of natural materials, so please understand. We have attached photos of the actual item, so please purchase with your understanding. *This item was sourced from a specialized supplier of temple supplies and Buddhist altar fittings. *It is also recommended for chanting, memorial services, and meditation at home. *Regarding the 10th photo: The 10th photo shows the wooden fish being listed, placed side-by-side with a wooden fish that has been cherished and used in our home for over 50 years. The item for sale is unused and new, so its color appears bright and whitish. However, with long-term use, it will transform into a deep, amber color, characteristic of natural wood. This color change is another significant charm of the wooden fish, and it can be used as a Buddhist ritual object that matures over time. This wooden fish offers the joy of companionship and nurturing its sound and color over time. *Shipping: We will arrange shipping via Yu-Pack using YuYu Mercari便.
