H.P.DECO Curiosity Room ATELIER H.P.FRANCE Bazar et Garde-Manger Art piece by Paris-based artist Ma?ssa Toulet. Her unique worldview is expressed within an acrylic case. Purchased at H.P.DECO Curiosity Room for approximately 80,000 yen. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, signed (see photo 2). It can also be displayed on a wall as shown in photo 3. Maissa Toulet Born 1974 Around the age of 30, she began collecting objects, toys, insects, etc., and started creating cabinets (curiosity cabinets). She says it was inspired by Joseph Cornell-style collages, like art boxes, which she loved since her teenage years. It started with cramming all her collected items into glass cases, and now she creates and exhibits works on a different scale than back then. Click here for the manufacturer's site
