Charming vintage figural brooch depicting a seated couple on a bench, rendered in soft hand-painted enamel over a gold-tone base. Marked Made in Czechoslovakia, placing it pre-1993, and stylistically consistent with mid-20th century Czech novelty/figural export jewelry. The scene has a sweet, storybook quality—pastoral dress, gentle color palette, and slightly naïve illustration style that reads very European folk / fairytale adjacent. These Czech figural pins sit in a nice niche between costume jewelry and miniature illustration. Lightweight and easy to wear; works well as a subtle conversation piece or as part of a maximalist brooch cluster. • Marked Made in Czechoslovakia • Mid-20th century • Gold-tone metal, hand-painted enamel • 5.5g • approx. 1 wide • roll over clasp Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age: Enamel shows surface wear and softening of detail on faces and clothing • Some discoloration/spotting to metal on reverse
