Out of print 40 Years’ Gatherin’s by Spike Van Cleve, published in 1977, vintage 1st edition (6th printing), Western decor book. “The stories in this book are Spike Van Cleve's forty years' gatherins—cherished memories of rugged, honest living in the clean air and mountainous rangeland near Big Timber, Montana. There, he and his family . . . ran the Van Cleve ranch, now a 20,000 acre expanse under the Crazy Mountains in south central Montana. Spike Van Cleve was a natural born storyteller who was educated at Harvard but received his ‘learnin’’ on the Montana range riding his horses and doing an honest day's work.” -from the dust jacket It measures 6 1/4” wide by 9 1/4” tall. 301 numbered pages, published by the Lowell Press. New to Poshmark? Use code: montanamade100 (my closet name) to get $10 off! 💐 Or, bundle your likes and automatically save 10% off when you buy 3 or more items! You will receive the exact item shown. The front and back end sheets have the remainders of the fact that this was a library book, pages 279-286 have a coffee stain—along with surrounding pages with liquid damage, and there are a few places where words were underlined. Please look at the photos as they are a part of the description. I have a non-smoking and pet-friendly home. The blue book weight, US quarter, and ruler are for scale and display only; not included. As well, I use some recycled packaging materials. 😀 Thanks for looking, and please ask any questions before purchase!
