**Original Rialto**. Featuring a stunning molded faux-tortoiseshell / marbleized top plastic frame and matching handle, this bag is a classic staple of 1940s/1950s American fashion. The tapestry features a rich, ornate floral damask pattern in beautiful autumnal tones. Inside, it still retains the original satin lining, interior pockets, and metallic gold trim accents alongside the stamped Original Rialto PAT. PEND. branding. **Measurements:** * **Width:** Approx. 15.5 (across the widest part of the base) * **Height:** Approx. 11 (from bottom base to the top of the plastic frame) --- **Condition Report (Please Read Before Bidding/Buying):** This purse is being sold in **As-Is / Vintage condition** and makes a wonderful, easy restoration project for a collector! * **Handle Attachment:** One side of the plastic handle frame has come unglued on the interior side (see close-up photos). The piece simply needs to be glued back into place—an easy fix with the right epoxy or jewelry glue, but we are leaving this choice to the new owner. * **Dust & Cleaning:** The bag is currently dusty from storage and will need a thorough, gentle cleaning both inside and outside to bring the fabric and lining back to its full splendor. * **Hardware:** The metal hinges and closure components show typical vintage green oxidation/verdigris buildup from age. * **Surface Wear:** The plastic frame and handle show fine surface scratches and dulling consistent
