This is the Petzl Quark ice axe. It has been used about 3 times on resort ice. The pick has been sharpened only on the top and sides to improve penetration, so it is ready to use. It has not been used for alpine climbing, so the shaft has no noticeable scratches and is in good condition. The adze and hammer were removed and are unused. There are minor scratches from transport. One of the pick protectors is missing from the spike side. I am selling it because I no longer have opportunities to use it due to childcare. Please take it ice climbing and alpine climbing. Below is from the manufacturer's product page. Versatile ice axe The curved shaft and the Grip Rest Quark hand rest at the bottom of the shaft protect your hands during ice climbing. The steel spike and its moderate curve make it easy to penetrate snow. The shaft is hydroformed for an easy grip when climbing couloirs. The handle, made of two materials and overmolded, provides insulation and high grip. The Trigrest Quark and Grip Rest Quark provide excellent grip in difficult situations. 550 g: with adze or hammer attached Efficient penetration into ice The Ice pick, with a tip thinned to 3.3 mm, is suitable for various conditions such as snow, ice, and mixed terrain. Compatible with Pick Weight to change the weight balance of the ice axe and make it easier to drive in. Alpen Adapt system for multiple combinations The modular head can be adjusted to suit the nature and difficulty of the route. Picks can be selected according to the application, such as snow, ice, or mixed: Ice, Pure Ice, Dry, Pure Dry. Adze and hammer are interchangeable. The Trigrest Quark hand rest can be adjusted in position without tools. The Grip Rest Quark hand rest can be folded for easy penetration into snow. Hole for attaching the V-Link retractable leash to prevent loss. Lightweight: 465 g (without accessories) Click here for the manufacturer's site
