YAMAHA YSL-882O Tenor Bass Trombone Yamaha Wind Instrument [Condition] - Slide operation: No issues - Body: No major dents (minor scratches from use are present) - Tuning slide: No sticking - Lacquer: Some peeling Operation confirmed [Accessories] - Genuine hard case - Mouthpiece YAMAHA 51C4L-GP - Cloth, etc. [Description] This is a Yamaha Custom Zeno Series YSL-882O. With its open wrap specification, it offers excellent airflow and is a trombone that can perform powerfully in orchestras and brass bands. Its thick and rich tone makes it recommended not only for advanced players but also for intermediate players looking to step up. - Bell section and inner/outer slide tubes have been cleaned with a highly volatile petroleum-based cleaner. - Valve section lubricated with Fast oil, rotary shaft with Hedman, and levers with Yamaha products. - Green patina is present near the bell flare, but it has been confirmed that the bell resonance has not decreased. The open wrap provides excellent airflow, and the bell diameter has been changed from the standard 216mm to 220mm, allowing for dynamic performances in orchestras. Another characteristic of this model is the absence of a brace on the bell body, which allows vibrations to be transmitted directly, resulting in a free blowing feel. The narrow slide is standard equipment, making it ideal for those with smaller hands or those seeking better projection. While some may be considering the 825 or OR models, which cost over 800,000 yen, this model is characterized by its dynamic sound while offering greater maneuverability. For those who want their own instrument but cannot afford 800,000 yen, this instrument has specifications that can be fully utilized even when purchased used. The standard mouthpiece is included, but as it is gold-plated and the grip may be slippery, please purchase a silver-plated one separately if you are concerned.
