Absolutely wonderful antique vintage 1920s–1930s Made in Japan triple frog majolica style planter / vase featuring three figural frogs climbing and hugging around a central tulip or strawberry-form planter. This highly collectible ceramic piece is one of the more desirable whimsical Japanese figural planters and is often referred to as a: * triple frog planter * strawberry planter * majolica frog vase * frog flower vase * figural frog planter * antique Japanese majolica planter * cottagecore frog décor * garden room collectible The underside is clearly marked: MADE IN JAPAN which places this in the early Japanese export pottery era, most commonly associated with 1920s–1930s production, and commonly sold as majolica-style art pottery. The sculptural form features: Three raised figural frogs surrounding a central flower/tulip-shaped vessel with rich glossy green glaze and darker hand-painted style accents. Very Good antique vintage condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with older Japanese pottery. There is visible glaze crazing, minor age wear, and expected vintage imperfections consistent with authentic early export ceramics. No major cracks or chips noted. Please review all photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition. Ships with care!
