Pair of Vintage Heisey Chanticleer Rooster Vases Clear Crystal c. 19391948 Rare Matching Set This is a rare opportunity to own a matching pair of Heisey Chanticleer Rooster Vases, produced between 1939 and 1948 by the A.H. Heisey & Co. of Newark, Ohio. These elegant figural vases are crafted in clear crystal glass, each standing approximately 5.5 to 6 inches tall. The design features a beautifully detailed rooster with stylized Art Deco tail feathers forming the vases flared top. Both have flat, polished bases, consistent with authentic Heisey finishing. While unmarked (which is typical for this specific piece), they match the known #1557 Chanticleer pattern exactly in form, detail, and finish. Condition: Both vases are in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There are a few natural inclusions consistent with early mid-century pressed glass: One vase has a small air bubble visible within the glass body. Both show minor internal mold characteristics or forming marksthese are within the glass and do not affect the surface or structural integrity. These characteristics are common in authentic period glass and do not detract from the display quality or rarity of these pieces. Whether youre a Heisey collector or simply love figural Art Deco glass, this pair is a beautiful and unusual findespecially as a matched set.
