This is a contrabass made by GLIGA, a prestigious workshop in Romania. This is a mid-range model from GLIGA, known for its balanced sound, making it easy to handle for a wide range of players from beginners to intermediate. Equivalent to the Genial series. GLIGA, which inherits traditional European craftsmanship, is a globally acclaimed brand for its warm, resonant bass tones and rich sound. This instrument was made in 2007. Due to years of aging, the wood is well-dried and stable, offering a mellow resonance that cannot be found in new instruments. --- [Features and Appeal] ・ Authentic European (Romanian) contrabass ・ Rich resonance from spruce/maple wood ・ Beautiful, calm amber-colored appearance ・ Suitable for orchestras, wind ensembles, and jazz ・ A model that can be used for a long time by beginners to intermediate players Material: Details unknown (may be plywood or partially solid wood based on appearance) Size: 4/4 (Japanese notation) *This is the standard size, equivalent to a 3/4 size in European notation. --- [Condition] *The soundpost has fallen. ・ There are scratches and scuffs associated with normal use. ・ As I do not have specialized knowledge, please check the condition in the photos. --- [Accessories] ・ Soft case --- [Operation (Important)] This is sold as-is. Please consider it with the understanding that it will require repair, adjustment, and setup at a workshop. --- [Recommended Points] New European contrabasses are currently very expensive, and opportunities to acquire one at this price range are extremely rare. ▶︎ Recommended for those who: ▶︎ Want to start playing soon ▶︎ Are looking for a solid instrument ▶︎ Want to have it adjusted and use it for a long time --- This model is rarely available on the market, and it can be difficult to obtain if you miss the opportunity. If you are looking for a European contrabass in good condition, please consider this opportunity. We do not offer reserved listings or holds. Even if there are ongoing conversations in the comments, we will prioritize the transaction with the person who presses the purchase button first. Click here for the manufacturer's site
