Aria SWB-03SHX Electric Upright Bass ■Body: Alder ■Neck: Maple ■Fingerboard: Maple, 100R ■Pickups: Shadow SH 950 pickup in bridge Includes soft case Used for practice at home as a substitute for a double bass. Never used for live performances and never taken outside. There are signs of use and minor scratches, but they do not affect playability. The screw holes for the body rest on the back of the body had some looseness, so they have been reinforced with glue, but it is not a perfect repair. Shipping for this item will generally be on Wednesdays. Please understand the above before purchasing. No claims, no returns. Excerpt from the manufacturer's website: Equipped with a pickup from Shadow, a long-established German pickup manufacturer, this solid-body bass delivers incredible low-end and volume, unlike any other solid-body. It boasts a rich, sustained sound with a strong core, eliminating the need for magnetic pickups. It also responds well to bowing. The nut width has been increased to a wider 43mm (3mm wider than standard), bringing it closer to the playability of an acoustic bass. Its simple controls and versatility with all types of strings are also appealing features. Click here for the manufacturer's site
