Thank you for viewing. This is a waterproof compatible adapter that allows you to operate Garmin Striker series (plug-in connector type) with Makita 14.4v batteries. Batteries are not included. It uses a flexible rubber-coated cable that resists kinking, with a total length of approximately 1.5m. The adapter is equipped with Type-C and USB outputs (both 5V 3A max) with switches. The connector uses a gasket to achieve the same waterproof performance as the genuine cable. We developed this product because we thought something like this would be useful. The genuine cable is thick, lacks flexibility, kinks easily, and is difficult to handle and can become messy. Using this adapter will significantly shorten the total length, simplify the setup, and eliminate unnecessary connections, so we highly recommend it! Please note that it cannot be used when external devices are connected. We tested it with a Striker Plus 4 and GT-10 transducer using a Makita genuine 14.4v 4Ah battery for 12 hours. The remaining battery indicator showed 2, and the displayed voltage was 14.3v. Please note that depending on the transducer and device settings, the usage time may be shorter, so please consider this as a reference only. While it can start and be used with 18v batteries, their use is not recommended. (The allowable voltage for the Striker series is up to 20v, and a fully charged battery slightly exceeds this upper limit.) When using, we strongly recommend turning on the system alarm voltage and setting it to around 12-13v to prevent over-discharge. (Over-discharging can cause serious damage to the battery. While it is theoretically possible to discharge down to 2.7v per cell = 10.8v, over-discharging can also disrupt cell balance, so it is safer to allow for a margin.
