Up for sale is a Suzuki Violin, Masakichi Suzuki No.W5. The price is set based solely on sound quality, not on external appearance or brand recognition. I personally acquired this instrument and have carefully adjusted and restored it based on traditional craftsmanship and repair principles. Unlike typical shops or workshops, we have not used harsh chemicals or excessive polishing agents to enhance its appearance. Our focus is on the following: * Preserving the original varnish texture and structure as much as possible. * Maintaining the natural state of the wood. * Not compromising the instrument's inherent acoustic properties. Traditional animal hide glue has been used for adhesion. Irreversible adhesives such as PVA have not been used. This violin is not the type that produces an exceptionally projecting sound. It is primarily suitable for beginners and students. It is also well-suited for players who wish to blend naturally with others in an orchestra. Overall, the sound is somewhat subdued, with a calm, chamber-music-like character on each string. Playability is good, with an easy-to-handle balance. However, attempting to force a loud volume will reveal its limitations, resulting in a rough (distorted) sound. On the other hand, this instrument possesses excellent educational qualities. It naturally encourages careful and beautiful playing rather than forcing sound, making it ideal for practicing fundamental bowing and tone production. Furthermore, its moderate volume makes it suitable for environments where consideration for others is necessary. Please check the photos for the condition. As sound quality is prioritized over appearance, no excessive exterior treatment has been applied. We recommend purchasing a new case for daily use. Inspection of the instrument in Tokyo is also welcome.
