This is a Hengsheng Antonius Stradivarius model (Model: HAL-1-406, Year: 2010), which is currently difficult to obtain. This is a 42cm size viola. List Price: 400,000 yen It has the beautiful outline characteristic of a Stradivarius model, with an elegant overall silhouette, giving it a distinct presence compared to simple beginner violas. The top plate features a finely grained spruce with clear wood grain, and the back and sides also have beautiful wood grain patterns, complementing the calm brown varnish. The purfling, edge finishing, f-hole detailing, and scroll carving are all meticulously done, showing a high level of craftsmanship for a mass-produced instrument, exuding the dignity of a string instrument. As expected of a 406mm/42cm class instrument, it has a rich resonance, making it recommended for those seeking the deep mid-low tones characteristic of a viola. The fingerboard and fittings are made of ebony-like parts, giving it a sleek appearance. The string height and bridge area are set up for practical use, making it suitable not only for practice but also for orchestras, ensembles, and lessons. Furthermore, this set includes an F.SCHNEIDER stamped bow and a hard case. As it comes as a set with a bow and case, it is recommended for those who want to start playing the viola, switch from violin to viola, or upgrade from a beginner instrument to a slightly better one. As this is a used item, there are minor scratches and scuffs associated with use, but as shown in the photos, there are no major noticeable damages, and it is still in usable condition. This is a recommended viola featuring a solid 42cm size, made in 2010, a well-crafted Hengsheng Stradivarius model. It comes with a bow and hard case, combining practicality with aesthetic beauty. Please examine the photos carefully and purchase with the understanding that this is a used item.
